Conclusion of Study

SYSTEMATIC THEOLOGY: Systematic Theology is an attempt to construct a comprehensive and consistent whole out of all revelation from God which is contained in His Holy Word the Bible.
APOLOGETICS: Apologetics means to defend.  Apologetics deals with the protection of Christian Theology from external attacks.
POLEMICS: Polemics defends Orthodox Christianity from internal Doctrinal threats such as heresy and aberrant, theological deviant, teachings.
Evangelical theology is foundationalized n the supernatural.  Jesus alone was a great miracle.  His virgin birth, the miracles which He performed, His physical resurrection from the dead, His bodily ascension into Heaven and so much more.
Another foundationalized fundamental of the evangelical faith is that of theological revelation.  If God has not unveiled Himself, then how can He be known?  But God has chosen to disclosed Himself, and His self-disclosure is called theological revelation.  According to evangelical theology, God has revealed Himself in two ways:

1. GENERAL REVELATION:  revelation through nature Romans 1:19-20
2. SPECIAL REVELATION: revelation through the inspired Scriptures II Timothy 3:16-17.

Special revelation foundtionalizes uniquely the SYSTEMATIC THEOLOGY.. It foundationalizes the infallibility and inerrancy of the Bible.
Special revelation contributes foundationally to SYSTEMATIC THEOLOGY.  With the Bible being an infallible and inerrant source of data.  Also, the Bible is God's only source of revelation as Redeemer and His Plan of Salvation.  Making Scripture, and the person of Jesus Christ, the absolute source for Eternal Salvation.
The Bible alone is God's one and only infallible and Inerrant source of data for the study of SYSTEMATIC THEOLOGY.

Matthew 5:17...Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Luke 24:27...And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
Luke 24:44...And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
John 5:39...Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
II Corinthians 10:5...Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
Galatians 2:20...I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Philippians 1:21...For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
Hebrews 10:7...Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

The Bible alone reveals God the Heavenly Father as Redeemer:

Psalms 8:1...O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.
Isaiah 40:12-17...Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance? [13] Who hath directed the Spirit of the LORD, or being his counseller hath taught him? [14] With whom took he counsel, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and shewed to him the way of understanding? [15] Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance: behold, he taketh up the isles as a very little thing. [16] And Lebanon is not sufficient to burn, nor the beasts thereof sufficient for a burnt offering. [17] All nations before him are as nothing; and they are counted to him less than nothing, and vanity.
Psalms 19:1...The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
Titus 2:11-13...For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, [12] Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
[13] Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
It is not that the Bible alone contains the Message of Salvation, but that the Bible alone is the Message of Salvation:

Matthew 28:18-20...And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. [19] Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: [20] Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Acts 4:12...Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Romans 1:20...For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Romans 2:12...For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;
Romans 10:9...That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Romans 10:14-15...How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? [15] And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

The Holy Scriptures is the written path of life for true Saved Born Again Believers:

Romans 2:12-15...For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; [13] (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. [14] For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: [15] Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)
Ephesians 2:20...And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
II Timothy 3:16-17...All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: [17] That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
Logic deals with the methods of valid thinking.  Logic reveals how to draw proper conclusions from premises. It is a prerequisite of all thinking.  This thinking would include the thoughts and logic of SYSTEMATIC THEOLOGY.  Logic is such an inescapable tool that even those who deny it cannot avoid using it.  Logic is built right into the fabric of  the rational universe.
CORRESPONDENCE VIEW of TRUTH: The holding of orthodox theology has held that truth is what corresponds to the objects of its affirmations.
Psalms 119:142...Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.
PLURALISM: the belief that every religion is true.  That each provides a genuine encounter with the Ultimate.  One may be better than the others.  It is the belief all gods are adequate.
RELATIVISM: similar to plurlualism..  Claiming each religion is true to the individual who holds it.  Relativists believe that since there is no objective truth in religion, there is no criteria by which one can tell which religion is true or which religions are false.

INCLUSIVISM: claims that one religion is explicitly true, and all others are implicitly true.

EXCLUSIVISM:  the belief that only one religions is true.  All other religions opposed to it are false.
It is the belief of evangelicals that the Bible is God's Word in human words.  Therefore, another precondition for doing evangelical theology is the belief that finite human language is capable of meaningfully expressing the nature of the infinite God of Christian theism.  Which is displayed in both general and special revelation.
Today, Systematic Theology, the greatest of all sciences, has fallen upon evil times.  Today, Churches must be user friendly in order to keep the collection plates full.
Today, the one in the pulpit must be a psychologist, financial advisor, psychiatrist, a personal/family counselor, lawyer, a stand up comic,  or else a number of things that have nothing to do with the Bible nor the Doctrines taught therein.
Today, the sacred pulpit area is given over to the world, the flesh and the devil.  Entire services are given over to a guest speaker who takes the entire pulpit time giving their testimony.  Too many times, these so called testimonies is nothing more than a person bragging about how horrible of a sinner that they were before, as they would so call it, coming to Christ.
I Timothy 1:3...As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine,
Evangelicals believe that the Bible is God's Word in human words.  Therefore, another precondition for doing evangelical theology is the belief that finite human language is capable of meaningful expressing the nature of the infinite God of Christian theism, which is displayed in both general and special revelation.
SYSTEMATIC THEOLOGY, the greatest of all precise sciences has fallen upon dark days of evil. In that it is, of today, the so called liberals and denominational puppets on a string, which lead the choirs of mockery and contempt against such doctrines. The modern day Church of Jesus Christ has forsaken and abandoned SYSTEMATIC THEOLOGY.
The Scriptures teach us to study Theology and Doctrine:
I Timothy 1:3; 4:4; 16; II Timothy 3:10; 16 &  4:2-3.
Coming to understand the Theological and Spiritual truths of the Bible will prove to be a life long quest.  The great preachers who have moved the hearts of men with divine power hve been saturated with Bible truths secured through lifetime of daily study and laboring in the Word.
A true student of Bible and Theology will never be satisfied living off the works of other theologians.  The field of Theology and Scripture is inexhaustible.  As a novice in the Scriptures, we would lean heavily on those who have gone before us. And this leaning should always be there.  However, the time should come when the novice becomes a master, and he can begin to think for himself.
No Seminary Professor can ever teach his students to be/become something in which he himself is not!
The question as to the evil effects of an abridged theology may be considered with a full recognition of the fact that such abridgment of doctrine in the seminary, will leave the graduating Pastor unable to properly shepherd his flock. Such limitation  will be reflected in the spiritual anaemiacy, restricting not only that of his own spiritual life, but, of the spiritual life and activity of those who await upon his ministry.
What is  SYSTEMATIC THEOLOGY?  SYSTEMATIC THEOLOGY  is the collecting, scientifically arranging, comparing, exhibiting, and defending of all facts from any/every source concerning The Theologian's primary source of data is the Bible.  Preferably the Authorized King James Version. SYSTEMATIC THEOLOGY is an in depth examination of God and His works.  It is obvious there could be no valid reason offered for the omission of any vital doctrine from this precise science.

1.  EXEGETICAL THEOLOGY: Exegetical Theology occupies itself directly with the study of the biblical text and such related subjects as help in the restoration, orientation, illustration and interpretation of that text.  It includes the study of Biblical languages, Biblical archaeology, Biblical introduction, Biblical hermeneutics and Biblical theology.
2.  HISTORICAL THEOLOGY: Historical theology traces the history of God's people in the Bible and of the Church since the time of Christ.  It deals with the origin, development, and spread of the true religion and also with its doctrines, organization and practices.  It embraces Biblical history, Church history, history of missions, history of Doctrine and the history of creeds and confessions.

SYSTEMATIC THEOLOGY takes the materials furnished by exegetical and historical theology and arranges them in logical order under the great heads of theological study. But the contributions of exegetical and historical theology must be carefully distinguished.  The former is the only real and infallible source of the science.  But the latter, in its exhibition of the progressive apprehension by the Church of the great doctrines of the faith often contributes to an understanding of the Biblical revelation.  Dogmatic theology is the systematization and defense of the doctrines expressed in the symbols of the Church.  Though dogmatic theology is often used synonymously with systematic theology.  Under SYSTEMATIC THEOLOGY are included the studies of apologetics, polemics and Biblical ethics.
4.  PRACTICAL THEOLOGY: This area of theology addresses the application of theology in the regeneration, sanctification, edification and service of men.  PRACTICAL THEOLOGY seeks to apply to practical life the things contributed by the other three departments of theology.  PRACTICAL THEOLOGY.  embraces areas such as homiletics, Church organization and administration, worship, Christian education and missions.
