LESSON 3

Jesus made it perfectly clear that without being Born Again, Heaven will be impossible John 3:3-7. There are no exceptions. Being Born Again is a necessity for going to Heaven. There are no substitutes for being Born Again.  Again, be Born Again is an absolute necessity.

John 3:3-7 ... Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. [4] Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? [5] Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. [6] That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. [7] Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
The need for being Born Again is on everyone on the planet. We do not have the power within ourselves to be Born Again.  We need the power of the Risen Lord Jesus Christ for Salvation :
Romans 8:17-20 ... Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. [18] For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.

[19] For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
[20] Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
Romans 8:8 ... So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

Romans 12:1-2 ... I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. [2] And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

The heart is deceitful, and does not welcome God; we need to be pure in heart to see God. There is no thought of God before the eyes of the natural man; we need a change in nature that we may be counted among those  who thought upon His name.  No education or culture can bring about such a needed change. God alone can do it. We can never trust our own feelings about being Born Again.

Jeremiah 17:9 ... The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

Being Born Again requires the Holiness of God:

Ezra 9:15 ... O LORD God of Israel, thou art righteous: for we remain yet escaped, as it is this day: behold, we are before thee in our trespasses: for we cannot stand before thee because of this.

Hebrews 12:14 ... Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
